Evergreen Wedding

Evergreen is a census-designated place (CDP) in Jefferson County, Colorado and is roughly 30 miles west of the city of Denver. The population was 9,216 at the 2000 census.

Space Shuttle Astronaut Jeffrey Ashby graduated from Evergreen High School in 1972.

Evergreen sits at an elevation of 7,220 feet in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, 15 miles west of Denver, Colorado. Evergreen is located at 393820N, 1052011W (39.638905, -105.336318)GR1.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 9,216 people, 3,591 households, and 2,689 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 307.3/km (795.7/mi). There were 3,840 housing units at an average density of 128.0/km (331.5/mi). The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.35% White, 0.26% African American, 0.36% Native American, 0.62% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.25% from other races, and 1.10% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.08% of the population.
